 On December 18, the DF8B5885 diesel locomotive slowly entered Jinxi Industrial Group Co., Ltd., marking that the newly purchased Dongfeng 8B diesel locomotive of Wuhan Jinhuasheng Railway Locomotive Co., Ltd. was put into operation on the special line of Jinxi Industrial Group Co., Ltd.


   Dongfeng 8B diesel locomotive is a new type of high-power AC and DC transmission trunk freight diesel locomotive developed for the speed increase of heavy freight load on busy trunk lines in China, with a maximum operating power of 3680kW(5000 horsepower).
In order to ensure the smooth operation of the new car and the safe operation after it goes on line, the technicians of Wuhan Jinhuasheng Railway Locomotive Co., Ltd. have carried out a comprehensive preparation of the locomotive running department, electrical room, cooling room, power room, monitoring and other equipment to ensure the access of the locomotive before it goes on line.
This time, compared with the same type of locomotive, the Dongfeng 8B diesel locomotive has slightly optimized the locomotive structure: first, the driver's seat has been changed, so that the riding comfort has been greatly improved. Secondly, the installed wind-operated rearview mirror is very convenient for observing and observing the operation of various parts behind the locomotive during the operation of the locomotive. Thirdly, the installed inspection, detection and protection devices of various parts ensure the safety of the locomotive on-line operation.
In order to meet the requirements of railway development, the introduction of high-power diesel locomotives will give full play to its superior performance, more adapt to the needs of road transportation, and play a greater role in the safe and efficient completion of railway transportation tasks.
