The first diesel locomotive for track-laying operation of Yawan high-speed railway arrives at the track-laying base.
Release time:2022-02-07
On January 28, 2022, the first diesel locomotive for track laying operation of Yawan high-speed railway arrived at the track laying base in Bandung. The assembly and commissioning were completed, and the on-site trial operation was successfully completed, laying a solid foundation for the smooth progress of the track laying project.
The six Dongfeng 4B diesel locomotives used in the Yawan high-speed railway are one of the diesel locomotive models with the largest output, the most widely used and the most mature technology in the history of China's railway. The main line of Yawan high-speed railway has 112.8 kilometers of ballasted track laying and 166.6 kilometers of ballastless track laying, of which 30 ‰ slope lines are nearly 12 kilometers and are scattered. More than 3 diesel locomotives need to be used to pull the large track laying trains to provide power for the large track laying trains. The diesel locomotives can also pull K13 wind-driven ballast unloading vehicles to the site to carry out line ballast filling and realize mechanized construction.
In order to adapt to the road transportation conditions in Indonesia and ensure the safe and smooth transportation, the project department has carried out survey on the transportation route in advance. According to the line conditions, the diesel locomotive is disassembled into four parts before shipment. The diesel locomotive starts from Liuzhou, is transported by rail to the Shanghai port, is loaded and shipped at the Shanghai port terminal, and after arriving at the Jakarta port in Indonesia, is transported by road in Indonesia, and is smoothly transported to the track laying base of the Dekharul bullet train section in Bandung. The track laying is carried out from the EMU section to Jakarta.
The Jakarta-Bandung high-speed rail connects Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, and Bandung, the fourth largest city, with a total length of 142 kilometers and a maximum design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It is a landmark project of the "Belt and Road" construction and practical cooperation between China and Indonesia. It is the first full system of China's high-speed rail., A model project for the implementation of the entire industry chain overseas. It is of great significance to effectively alleviate the traffic pressure from Jakarta to Bandung, facilitate people's travel along the route, accelerate the formation of the Yawan Economic Corridor, promote Indonesia's economic and social development, and improve people's livelihood.
