It is reported that the driver of train D2809 was killed in the line of duty. After on-board data analysis, the driver found an abnormal line when the train arrived in the Yuezhai tunnel before entering Rongjiang Station. Emergency braking measures were taken within 5 seconds, and the train skidded for more than 900 meters. The anti-collision wall of high-speed railway and the overall protection of the track structure prevent the train from falling.
