The company's first new energy locomotive completed trial operation test

On May 22, the company's first new energy locomotive conducted a field traction test at Shandong Liangshan Port-Ji Mineral Flow Station.
The realization of carbon neutrality is a major strategic deployment made by the CPC Central Committee. China's railway carbon emissions mainly come from diesel locomotives, especially the old diesel locomotives still used by some industrial and mining enterprises, which have heavy pollution, high energy consumption and high noise. At the end of 2023, the "Administrative Measures for the Elimination and Renewal of Old Railway Diesel Locomotives (Draft for Comment)" issued by the National Railway Administration pointed out that it is imperative to eliminate old diesel locomotives and promote the use of new energy locomotives.
In early 2024, the company began to lay out new energy locomotives, and took the lead in reaching a strategic cooperation agreement with Hunan Zhuzhou Liancheng Rail Equipment Co., Ltd. on the transformation of new energy locomotives. After half a year of transformation, the company's first new energy test vehicle finally offline. This is the first new energy locomotive for a private railway enterprise in my country, and it is also the first new energy locomotive on a dedicated railway line for enterprises in East China.
On May 19, this new energy locomotive numbered LE1001 arrived at Liangshan Port-based Mineral Flow Station. From May 20 to 21, the whole vehicle assembly, system inspection and debugging were completed.
In the trial operation test on May 22, the new energy locomotive completed the tests of traction empty vehicles and heavy vehicles, and obtained relevant data.
The test is still in progress.
