   Monrovia, Liberia, January 24, 2025 – China’s Embassy in Liberia grandly hosted the 2025 Spring Festival Reception, to which Zhang Xin, General Manager of Wuhan Jinhuasheng Railway Locomotive Co., Ltd.’s Liberian subsidiary, was invited to represent the company. During the event, Jinhuasheng, as a representative Chinese-funded enterprise operating in Liberia, showcased its remarkable achievements over the past year—highlighting advancements in infrastructure development, robust corporate social responsibility initiatives, and active efforts to strengthen China-Liberia cooperation across various sectors.

In 2024, Jinhuasheng Liberia Branch focused on strengthening infrastructure and enhancing internal management as its core objectives. As a result, the company’s railway operations reached an annual capacity of 1.5 million tons, significantly boosting the efficiency of Bang Mine’s logistics and transportation—and injecting new momentum into Liberia’s economic development. With its expert technical capabilities and highly effective management practices, the company has become a key benchmark for Chinese-funded enterprises operating in Africa’s railway sector.

At the reception, Yin Chengwu, China’s Ambassador to Liberia, delivered a speech, highly praising Chinese-funded enterprises—including Jinhuasheng—for their significant contributions to deepening China-Liberia friendship and boosting the region’s economic and social development. He emphasized that these Chinese companies are not only active participants in jointly building the Belt and Road Initiative but also serve as bridges of friendship between the people of both nations, expressing his hope for even more mutually beneficial and win-win outcomes in the future. During the event, Chinese institutions, overseas Chinese groups, and African friends came together to present a vibrant cultural performance rich with the unique flavors of China and Africa, creating a festive and harmonious atmosphere filled with joy and warmth.

At the reception, Zhang Xin, General Manager of the Liberian company, stated that Jinhuasheng will continue to uphold the philosophy of "rooted in Africa, serving the local community," and firmly adhere to the vision of "promoting Chinese railway standards worldwide along the Belt and Road Initiative."
