Wuhan Jinhuasheng North China Petrochemical Project Conducts Practical Fire Extinguisher Training, Strengthening the "Firewall" for Safe Production

To further enhance employees' safety awareness and emergency response capabilities, the North China Petrochemical Fire Brigade organized a professional fire extinguisher hands-on training session within the plant premises on September 18. Seven mechanical and vehicle maintenance personnel from Wuhan Jinhuasheng's North China Petrochemical Project Department participated in the training and successfully passed the assessment with all achieving satisfactory results.
The North China Petrochemical Project is one of Wuhan Jinhuasheng's strategic priorities. To establish this project as an industry benchmark, the company places great emphasis on team building, drawing key personnel from project offices across various regions to form a professional and highly efficient North China Petrochemical Station Project Team, ensuring the project’s safe and stable operation with full commitment.
Safe production is the cornerstone of project construction. The Wuhan Jinhuasheng North China Petrochemical Project Team has always placed safety as its top priority, regularly conducting safety training that combines theory with hands-on practice, organizing simulated fire emergency drills, implementing specialized pre-job fire safety training, and establishing a rigorous assessment mechanism—comprehensively strengthening the safety defense line to ensure that all transportation tasks proceed safely and efficiently. Since operations began, the project team has successfully completed numerous critical transportation services while maintaining an outstanding "zero accident" record.
This training emphasizes hands-on practice and practical application. During the fire hose operation session, participants systematically learned the entire process—covering skills such as hose inspection, deployment, connection, nozzle handling, valve control, firefighting postures, proper storage and retrieval, safety precautions, and pressure testing. In the fire extinguisher hands-on segment, the focus was on mastering the "lift, pull, aim, squeeze" four-step technique for dry powder extinguishers, while also highlighting critical aspects like suitable application scenarios, safe distances, and wind direction awareness—ensuring that every trainee gains the essential skills needed to effectively tackle initial-stage fires.
This training not only effectively enhanced the frontline personnel's real-world firefighting capabilities but also fully demonstrated North China Petrochemical Project's strong commitment to safe production, as well as its management philosophy of "service-oriented and safety-first," providing a solid foundation for the project's sustained, efficient, and secure operation.
