On the morning of February 20, 2024, Li Jianguo, Director of the Marketing Department of CRRC Qishuyan Locomotive Co., Ltd., and his delegation visited Wuhan Jinhuasheng Headquarters, where they were warmly received by Hu Guangjin, Chairman and General Manager of the company. The two sides engaged in an in-depth discussion on topics such as deepening cooperation and jointly promoting green development in the railway industry, reaching significant consensus.
During the meeting, Chairman Hu Guangjin systematically outlined the company's recent business developments. He stated that Wuhan Jinhuasheng has consistently adhered to the strategy of "dual-track parallelism and diversified growth," steadily expanding into both domestic and international markets to achieve comprehensive and balanced development across vehicles, machinery, engineering, electrical systems, and rolling stock—particularly making groundbreaking progress in the field of new-energy locomotive upgrades. "We are fully committed to advancing the technological upgrade of our new-energy locomotives, and by pioneering a green, demonstration railway dedicated line project, we aim to set a practical benchmark for the industry’s low-carbon transformation." Mr. Hu emphasized that this marks the company’s transition from traditional rail transportation services toward a greener, low-carbon transportation model.
Minister Li Jianguo highly praised Wuhan Jinhuasheng's innovative practices. He noted that, as a benchmark for private railway enterprises in China, Wuhan Jinhuasheng's experience in technological innovation and market development is well worth learning from. "Qishuyan Locomotive has always been committed to the collaborative development of the industrial chain, and we look forward to establishing strategic partnerships with Jinhuasheng across multiple dimensions—such as new energy technology R&D, overseas market expansion, and full-lifecycle services." Li Jianguo specifically highlighted that both parties have vast potential for cooperation in emerging areas like intelligent upgrades and the recycling of retired locomotives.
This exchange comes at a time when the National Development and Reform Commission has just released the "Green and Low-Carbon Development Action Plan for the Railway Industry," and the collaboration between the two companies will inject new momentum into the industry's transformation and upgrading.
Li Yanping, Deputy General Manager of Wuhan Jinhuasheng, Chief Engineer Li Xinhua, Song Xiaobin, Deputy Director of the Qishuyan Locomotive Market Department, and others jointly participated in the meeting. Prior to the talks, Li Jianguo and his delegation also visited the Jinhuasheng Honors Room.
