Release time:2025-07-19

On July 17, Hu Guangjin, Chairman and General Manager of Wuhan Jinhuasheng Railway Locomotive Co., Ltd., personally led a dedicated team of seven core managers from the company’s Chief Engineer’s Office, Transportation Department, Safety & Environmental Protection Department, and Vocational Training Department, to attend the "Local Railway Safety Management Training Workshop" hosted by the Hubei Provincial Local Railway Association. The training session drew over 100 safety management professionals from local railway companies across the province and beyond, who came together to learn and discuss cutting-edge concepts and practical experiences in railway safety management for the new era.

During the two-day intensive training, the participating team from Wuhan Jinhuasheng overcame challenging conditions such as extreme heat, approaching the training with a rigorous and pragmatic attitude. They systematically studied the CPC Central Committee and the State Council’s important discourses and guiding instructions on work safety, as well as relevant laws and regulations governing railway transportation safety, including the Railway Safety Production Law and local standards for building standardized safety systems in railway and dedicated railway enterprises. Additionally, the team engaged in discussions, exchanges, and actively addressed their questions and concerns.

As an advanced enterprise in railway safety management in Hubei Province, Wuhan Jinhuasheng has always regarded safe production as the lifeline of its business development. In 2021, the company successfully obtained ISO 9001 certification for its quality management system, establishing a standardized management framework that covers every stage of the process. Additionally, the company has established a comprehensive three-tier safety training system. Notably, in November 2023, it was proudly approved as the first privately-owned railway enterprise in Hubei Province authorized to assess and certify vocational skill levels. Particularly impressive are the company’s achievements: over 20 key projects—including the Liangshan Port Railway Dedicated Line and the Jingdezhen Railway Logistics Base—have all maintained safe operations for more than 1,000 consecutive days, setting an industry-leading benchmark in the sector.

Chairman Hu Guangjin stated: "This training has provided new insights into upgrading the company's safety management. We will accelerate the research and application of intelligent safety monitoring systems, aiming to achieve full coverage of our key 'Smart Safety' initiative within the next two years." The company will seize this training opportunity as a catalyst, continuing to strengthen efforts across three key areas: system development, technological innovation, and talent cultivation, with the ultimate goal of becoming a national model enterprise for local railway safety management.
