Wuhan Jinhuasheng Railway Locomotive Co., Ltd. Launches Its First Vocational Skills Certification Training Class for 2025

Release time:2025-08-18

On August 18, 2025, the first vocational skills certification training class hosted by Wuhan Jinhuasheng Railway Locomotive Co., Ltd. officially kicked off. This marks the launch of Hubei Province's first privately-owned railway enterprise certified as an official, officially authorized institution for vocational skills assessment, providing a new, standardized platform for talent development in the industry.

That morning, a brief opening ceremony was held at Jinhuasheng's Wuhan headquarters. Hu Guangjin, Chairman and General Manager of the company, along with Vice General Manager Li Yanping, attended and delivered an encouraging speech, cheering on the first group of five trainees from three projects: Huabei Petrochemical, Liangshan Port, and Nanxiong Power Plant. Over the next week, these five trainees will systematically learn the specialized knowledge required for railway station shunting operators (covering both shunting foreman and coupling roles), with courses focusing on essential topics such as safety regulations, emergency response procedures, and equipment operation—all closely aligned with real-world job demands.

In November 2023, Jinhuasheng successfully passed the assessment by the Wuhan Municipal Vocational Skill Appraisal and Guidance Center and was approved as a vocational skill level certification body. All five core trades it applied for—such as railway station train operation personnel—received approval for their appraisal qualifications. This marks an official recognition of Jinhuasheng's expertise. More importantly, the vocational skill level certificates issued by Jinhuasheng are fully compatible and mutually recognized within the national system, carrying the same validity as national-level professional qualification certificates. This not only provides strong support for employees' career development but also lays a solid foundation of skilled talent, ensuring safe production operations for the company.

Chairman Hu Guangjin emphasized at the opening ceremony: "Employee education and training are the core strategic pillar for the company's development—and a crucial component in building our 'Five Major Systems.' In today's fiercely competitive market, continuously enhancing employees' skills is the very foundation upon which our enterprise can thrive." He added that the company will fully cover participants' transportation, accommodation, and meal expenses, clearly demonstrating its unwavering commitment to nurturing talent and high expectations for their growth. Finally, he encouraged the trainees to seize this paid, full-time learning opportunity, urging them to "master genuine skills and hone practical expertise," so they can effectively translate their knowledge into enhanced work performance, ensuring the safe, smooth, and efficient operation of projects—and ultimately helping them become key contributors in their respective roles.

This training session features renowned industry experts and senior engineers as instructors. With their extensive experience and deep familiarity with both industry standards and hands-on practices, they will guide participants in mastering essential skills through methods such as case studies and simulated exercises. Upon successfully passing the assessment, trainees will earn nationally recognized, highly authoritative vocational skills certificates, providing solid support for both personal career advancement and organizations' talent development initiatives.
