On the morning of March 17, the Party Branch of Wuhan Jinhuasheng convened its first-quarter 2026 Party Members’ Meeting. All members of the branch attended, with prospective Party members in attendance as observers, and the meeting was chaired by Hu Guangjin, Secretary of the Party Branch.

During the meeting, all participants collectively watched the documentary “Role Models,” focusing on the exemplary deeds of Comrade Ru Zhengang. Everyone watched attentively and thoroughly studied his noble qualities—his unwavering commitment to working at the grassroots level and his dedicated service—and, in light of their own ideological and professional practices, compared themselves with these role models to identify gaps and shortcomings, thereby further strengthening their ideological foundation.

Subsequently, Secretary Hu Guangjin read out the Party branch’s decision on commending outstanding individuals. Comrade Chen Wenke, Manager of the Fenyi Project Department, has rigorously ensured the implementation of safety production responsibilities and was recognized by the Fenyi Power Plant of State Power Investment Corporation Jiangxi Electric Power Co., Ltd. as an “Advanced Individual in Safety Production.” The Party branch has therefore decided to issue a public commendation and award Comrade Chen Wenke. Secretary Hu Guangjin emphasized that Comrade Chen Wenke’s dedication to duty, unwavering commitment to safety, and courageous sense of responsibility serve as exemplary models for all Party members and employees, and that we should take such role models around us as guides to rally our collective drive and strive forward.

During the keynote remarks session, Comrades Chen Wenke, Wang Xiaojun, Li Wei, and Zhang Shuhe each delivered speeches on the theme of “Reviewing 2025 work, identifying personal shortcomings, and exploring how to exemplify and lead in our respective roles in 2026.” Drawing on his extensive experience across multiple positions, Comrade Li Wei candidly identified the weaknesses in his past work, deeply reflected on deficiencies in both his thinking and actions, and outlined specific areas for improvement: strengthening theoretical study, strictly adhering to safety procedures, and proactively taking responsibility and delivering results. Zhang Shuhe, an aspiring Party member, attended the meeting as an observer and expressed gratitude to the Party organization for the learning opportunities it has provided. He analyzed his own gaps in professional competence and team management by drawing on the exemplary deeds of role models, and pledged to hold himself to the highest Party standards and devote himself wholeheartedly to overcoming challenges in the Shangrao Power Plant project. The content of all four comrades’ remarks was substantive and closely aligned with the realities of their respective posts.

Secretary Hu Guangjin delivered a concluding speech. He provided a comprehensive review of the branch’s achievements in 2025, commending all Party members for their sense of responsibility and proactive performance in overcoming challenges and taking the lead in fulfilling their duties amid a complex market environment. At the same time, he objectively identified existing problems in current work: insufficient integration between Party building and business operations; inadequate outreach of publicity efforts to frontline staff; and room for improvement in the effectiveness of trade union services for employees. With regard to the branch’s key priorities for 2026, Secretary Hu made specific arrangements: first, to continuously deepen theoretical study, promote the integration of learning and application, and explore the development of distinctive platforms such as “Party Building + Project Breakthrough” and “Party Building + Safe Production”; second, to refine the criteria for designating Party member responsibility zones and selecting model posts, with a focus on concrete business results and safe production outcomes in identifying and promoting exemplary role models; and third, to call on all Party members to stay committed to their respective posts, work diligently and pragmatically, and demonstrate their vanguard and exemplary roles through concrete actions that solve difficult problems and accomplish tasks, thereby fully advancing the deep integration of Party building with the company’s development and ensuring that both move in the same direction and reinforce each other.

This Party members’ conference reviewed past work, commended outstanding role models, identified existing problems and weaknesses, and set clear priorities for the year, thereby further consolidating the ideological consensus among branch members and inspiring their enthusiasm for work and entrepreneurship. All Party members unanimously pledged to take this conference as an opportunity to keep their Party membership firmly in mind, address their own shortcomings, fulfill their duties and responsibilities in their respective posts, bravely shoulder heavy responsibilities, and contribute the strength of Party members to the company’s high-quality development through concrete actions.
