The company delivered a strong start to its operations, injecting robust momentum from a private railway enterprise into local economic development.

Wuhan Jinshenghua Railway Locomotive Co., Ltd. is a national-level high-tech enterprise and an ISO-certified organization that has obtained multiple qualifications, including pre-examination training for railway locomotive driving and vocational skills certification. The company is also authorized to engage in overseas labor cooperation and foreign investment, making it the first private railway enterprise to participate in the Belt and Road Initiative and the only one providing 10,000-ton train traction services abroad. Currently, the company operates 18 projects within China.

Safety is the cornerstone of development. In the first quarter, the company consistently placed safety at the forefront, strengthening the foundation for growth through rigorous oversight and strict management. A comprehensive campaign to rectify labor discipline was launched to enforce ironclad rules and standardize operational conduct; spring inspection and remediation efforts were steadily advanced, with thorough inspections and maintenance carried out on equipment and power lines to promptly eliminate safety hazards; the “Four Major Initiatives and One Comprehensive Approach” were deeply implemented, bringing about a fresh transformation in the locomotive culture; and regular “dictation-and-recitation” sessions on regulations were maintained, while self-inspection and self-repair were reinforced, thereby comprehensively enhancing employees’ theoretical knowledge and practical skills. At the same time, close attention was paid to eight key safety areas—train operations, equipment, personal safety, fire safety, road safety, food safety, flood control, and behavioral compliance—to achieve end-to-end, all-encompassing control with no blind spots. Notably, the Shangrao Power Plant Project Department conducted thorough fire-safety inspections and drills, post-holiday reorientation training, and training on the “two permits” system and safety procedures, while strictly enforcing on-site construction safety controls and ensuring timely risk alerts. Thanks to these comprehensive safety measures, none of the company’s 18 project departments experienced a single safety incident in the first quarter, and the overall safety situation has continued to remain stable and improve.

Under the robust support of stringent safety measures, the company’s various projects have consistently delivered outstanding operational and production results, comprehensively overachieving all transportation support assignments. In the first quarter, the company successfully secured three new contracts, further expanding its business footprint and sustaining strong growth momentum. Notably, the Shangrao Power Plant Project Team handled 430 train arrivals and departures, processed 17,772 operational vehicles, issued 675 work plans, and completed 3,490 hook operations—exceeding all performance targets.

The Liangshan Port Project Team has worked in full coordination with the client to advance “dual-turn unloading” operations, helping Liangshan Port’s port collection and distribution volume surpass 10 million tonnes—reaching 10.0561 million tonnes, a year-on-year increase of 34.33%. The port handled 70,000 TEUs, setting a new record for the same period and making a significant contribution to the port’s high-quality development, for which the client specially presented a banner of appreciation. In addition, the Jutai project was successfully launched, adding another milestone to the company’s business expansion and further enhancing its end-to-end service portfolio.

The outstanding performance in the first quarter would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of every employee. Zhang Shuhe, Project Manager of the Shangrao Project, is deeply committed to the project and faithfully fulfills his duties; even before the Spring Festival had ended, he returned to work ahead of schedule and remained on the front lines. Ji Xiaolei, an employee of the Jutai Project, puts the bigger picture first and takes initiative; despite having not yet used up his full wedding leave, he resolutely returned to his post to resume work.
